Weedy Seadragons

Weedy Seadragons use their appearance for camoflage.

Weedy Seadragons slowly drift through the ocean resembling seaweed. At a time, a female can lay about 120 eggs onto the males' tale. The male carries and fertilizes the eggs until they hatch about a month later. Even though they look very similar to Seahorses, their tail does not allow them latch onto items to anchor themselves.
