Rottnest Island

Rottnest Island is a pleasant, fast ferry ride from Freemantle. Home to dozens of wreck dives, adorable little Wallabies can be found top-side and in terms of marine life, you will be delighted to encounter Leafy Sea Dragons with predictability. Shipwrecks at Rottnest Island date range from 1842 to 1984. The first recorded being the Transit on May 9, 1842 and last being the Kiryo Maru, a Japanese tuna boat on August 6, 1984.
