The Port Jackson Shark's nostrils are connected to their mouths.

The Port Jackson Shark has a very distinguishable appearance. It has very prominent features including a blunt head and forehead ridges. The Port Jackson Shark does not pose a threat to humans due to them primarily being a bottom feeder. Their diet consists of fish, sea urchins, mollusks and crustaceans.
